Recycling your old summer wardrobe
Posted on November 16 2016
There's some times of the year you’re thinking about changing your whole wardrobe from ages ago. You probably should then. Or not. Because there is always a way to work around trends with old stuff. It’s like making new bracelets with the remaining pearls of your last DIY project. It is very much possible to rock an outfit put together from old items in a new way. Or in one’s own unique way.
It appears that off the shoulders dresses made their way from catwalks to the streets. The way you could see yourself with it is probably with a camel coat, for colder season. Indeed, a camel coat is good for almost every occasion you can think of. You will not need to invest in a new outfit to look trendy; you’ll just have to add a camel coat. Next, we have denim. Whether you choose to rock low rise, high-rise, tights, skinny cut, a pair of denim jeans will always be your ally. And I do mean, always. However, if you make it a point to be both urban and comfortable, you might want to go for skinny jeans. The fact that they are seasonless is in itself a more than good reason to keep wearing yours. Don’t you worry about those mom jeans gone mainstream, you cannot wear them for every occasion and they do not match every item in your wardrobe anyway. You can still be a trendsetter with skinny jeans; you just have to change things up a little.
Indeed, off the shoulder styles and denim jeans have been the stars in fashion this year, from catwalks to the streets of Paris to Los Angeles. We could understand why though : they seem to be timeless items, besides the fact that they mix up well with more than one item in one’s wardrobe. All you have to do to keep your fashion girl title is come up with new outfit combos so your style doesn’t feel like an endless repetition.
