OUR STORY

"J'enfile ma robe et le voyage commence" - Poupette

Since 1995

Poupette St Barth is not a label — it is a way of dressing for the life you actually want. Sun on your shoulders, salt in your hair, the right dress for whatever the afternoon brings. Every piece begins on the island of St Barth, in a story that started with one woman’s dream and has never stopped growing.

Poupette Giraud, is a free spirit and self taught designer. A Globe trotter from Cannes (France), she arrived in 1979 in St Barth and fell madly in love with the island when she discovered it. Everybody on the island calls her by her childhood nickname, "Poupette" (petite doll). This is how the Poupette St Barth's adventure started.

Her idea ? To bring her dream wardrobe to life so she could share it with other women.

A brand truly made by a woman for women. The style is distinctly Boho Chic, uniting an expression of freedom with an easy wearing joyful elegance.

A full collection of luxury resort wear since 1995 easily to recognize by the women wearing it. Nowadays, Poupette St Barth is a worldwide brand, distributed in more that 220 points of sale, including its own boutiques - with first flagship opened in Gustavia, St Barth in 2000, but also luxury retailers such as Saks Fith Avenue, digital market places, such as My Theresa.

The essence of the logo is inspired by the exotic perfume of the frangipani in her garden. It symbolizes the new life, beauty and the feminine spirit that she wants to share with her clients.

"My life is a rainbow. I define it in color and in sunshine” - Poupette

The brand has always stayed close to home. Poupette’s daughters grew up between fittings and fabric swatches, and today the same warmth runs through every campaign — sisters, friends, mothers and daughters, photographed the way they actually live: barefoot on a terrace, laughing mid-jump, borrowing each other’s dresses for the afternoon.
